why Baru Urbano Midtown Miami Sucks

If you want to know why Baru Urbano Midtown Miami Sucks, read this.

Often we all have to experience bad customer service in one place or another, but when someone takes the time to write about it, you know that such experience was far and beyond bad customer service, and that is exactly what Baru Urbano in Midtown Miami delivers.

Yesterday I went to that place for happy hour with a group of friends. As the whole group got together we sat on a table and order drinks and food from the waitress and so far everything was normal.

However a couple of hours later without us requesting it, the waitress brought us the check even though we wanted to stay there longer. A few minutes later, they brought ice, etc; and a big group of people approached our table as if it was their own.

We talked to the waitress and she said we had to leave the table because someone bought a bottle and we had to get out. After a long discussion we requested the manager to come in.

We explained her the situation and all she said was that all tables were reserved. We said, why weren't we said that from the beginning? And why were we served food and drinks in the table if it was reserved?

After some discussions she later sent a bouncer to ask us to leave the place, even tough we wanted to stay and keep ordering.

Next to us there were several tables that did not have bottle services and got there later than us. I asked the bouncer why we were asked to leave to let the people who wanted the bottle service come in instead of them, which he replied that he was just following orders from the manager.

The waitress said that the other tables were friends of the owner.

We requested the presence of the manager but she never wanted to show up and instead called the police who in turned asked us to leave the place.

The police was very kind and admitted we were not doing anything wrong but it was their bar and they could decide who could be there or not.

I am writing this to alert anyone who is considering to attend Baru Urbano at Midtown to what to expect when in comes to customer service.

These people really want to bring a poor mentality that may work in other countries to this amazing county, and that just not fit here.

We have the power of being able to express ourselves and to communicate to our community such abuses.

If you have been a victim of any type of abuse from these place, this is your space to share it with the public so others can avoid disrespectful treatments like Baru does.

Please leave a comment at the end with your thoughts and let's alert our community about this poor management and customer service styles.

Sincerely,

Rosario Urtuaga
